Dallahan is an exciting young quartet from Scotland, are one of the fastest rising forces on the international folk circuit. They are heavily rooted in traditional Irish music, but with hugely diverse backgrounds and influences. They call on their mixed Irish, Scottish and Hungarian heritage to create a unique and seamless musical montage, drawing in influences from jazz, funk, pop and classical music. Members of the band include Jack Badcock on lead vocals and guitar, Jani Lang on fiddle and backing vocals, Andrew Waite on accordion, and Ciarán Ryan on banjo, mandolin, and fiddle. Their music is frequently featured on WSIU’s syndicated radio program “Celtic Connections.”

CD's will be available for sale at the Venegoni Stage on Saturday at Walker's Bluff.
