Sunday at 12:30pm and 1:50pm on the Venegoni Stage
Róisín Dubh will be performing at the Celtic Fair at Walker's Bluff on Sunday only. Both performances will be on the Venegoni stage, the first at 12:30pm and again at 1:50pm.
Roisín Dubh (“dark little rose” in Irish) is a duo from Johnston City, IL performing traditional Celtic music in their own distinctive style. Les Lannom plays the Great Highland Pipes and Ceilidh bagpipes, and plays guitar to accompany his humorous and dramatic Scottish and Irish vocals. Holly Kee backs Les on the keyboard. Blending these diverse instruments to perform the standard folk songs, dance tunes, airs, and Piobaireachds combined with traditional American music of Scots-Irish roots, Roisín Dubh weaves a striking tapestry of unique style that is unmatched in the traditional musical arena.
